Several legislators, including Rep Pat Schroeder and Senators Bill Bradley, Nancy Kassebaum, Paul Simon, Sam Nunn, and Mark Hatfield, have announced their intentions of quitting at the end of their present terms. Some seem disillusioned with the job, while others are pursuing another career.
