Who gets all the good stuff

Article Abstract:

Three opinions are given of the same incident in which a mother gave away her late husband's book collection to a nephew who asked to have them, only to find that her son had assumed he would inherit them but had felt it would be indiscreet to discuss the matter. A professional counsellor feels that placing too much emphasis on the importance of articles of inheritance is often a substitute for a lack of communication with the person who has died.
