A morphing market: defining the energy services market becomes harder as the business changes

Article Abstract:

The energy services market is rapidly changing due to several factors, including changes in the industry itself. Several new players that have emerged are offering nontraditional services or different combinations of services and goods as they try to grab a share of what has become a very competitive market. The restructuring of the electric utility industry and implementation new federal legislations are expected to change the energy services industry even more rapidly.
