Three models show varying effects of technological change brought on by environmental policy related to climate change. The thrid model includes pollution trading and its research, economic, and cost efficiency effects.

A model which limits global temperature increase explores the macroeconomic costs, energy demand, and effects on consumption. Both short- and long-term energy savings are explored.
