On Edison's 150th birthday

Thomas Alva Edison's accomplishments as a valuable inventor in the electric light and recorded sound fields cannot be underestimated. The approach of his 150th birthday must remind the electricity industry and the American society as a whole that they owe everything to the achievements of the inventor. Society must realise that the real measure of accomplishment is not wealth but influence to initiate change.
