Tied Up: several intertwined issues confront utility management

Article Abstract:

The Navigant Consulting/ Electric Perspectives survey showed that the other sector has a personality of more mixed one than the power sectors due to restructuring and the unsettling aspects of change and the things on which power executives depends are very uncertain. It showed that the rules must be followed before anyone make investment in business and their wining or losing is based on their performance and not on the changes or uncertainty in the rules.

Article Abstract:

According to the survey conducted by Edison Electric Institute (EEI), more number of residential energy users expressed their concerns over the increasing electric costs in the United States, but they also accepted the helplessness of energy industry which is facing fuel shortages and rough weather conditions. The steps that energy industry should take in order to educate the customers in increasing power costs are also discussed.
