MS Analysis of Hair-Care Surfactants

Article Abstract:

A new study from Kobe, Japan-based Proctor and Gamble Asia examines the use of mass spectrometry in identifying surfactants found in hair preparations. The study concludes that electrospray tandem mass spectrometry is a good tool for identifying surfactants in common hair preparations, such as shampoos and conditioners.
