Germany: New recycling procedure for aerosols

Article Abstract:

Econ-Air developed a procedure for the processing and recycling of aerosol cans and the remaining substances in them. This procedure, by means of which the aerosols can be emptied completely, has been patented now. Econ-Air is in the process of setting up a new plant in German Porta Westfalica in which this recycling procedure is applied. Econ-Air uses most of the recyclable substances, e.g. solvents, for its own production of multi-trip aerosols. The aluminium, plastic or tinplate of the aerosol cans is sold to recycling companies for re-use.
