Ormecon schielt auf Chips

Article Abstract:

German Hamburg-based Ormecon Chemie has expanded business in the sector of organic metals by taking over the polyaniline division of Monsanto. The parent company of Ormecon, Zipperling Kessler & Co. (ZKC) had sold the division to Allied Signal in 1988, which had sold it further to Monsanto in 1994-1996. Ormecon is using organic metals for anti-corrosion coatings and for coating systems for printed circuits. Together with IBM, it is developing a 200-nanometre coating which improves the resolving capacity of a chip.
