Seeking a role for the clinical pharmacologist

Article Abstract:

The importance of pharmacology in the proper distribution of clinical health services manifests the underlying value of the discipline to the medical profession. Clinical pharmacologists determine the safety and efficacy of different medications, aside from identifying proper ways of administering and handling therapeutic products. Development of these roles together with various research and educational programs both for the medical profession and the public show the effort clinical pharmacologists are exerting to stimulate awareness on the significance of pharmacology in clinical practices.
