A question of power: science-based enterprise and the non-governmental organizaion

Article Abstract:

The power struggle between corporations which produce biotechnological products and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) which oppose such production is examined. The writer concedes that very often the stand taken by the NGOs has a moral focus and emphasizes the importance of corporate officers acknowledging the same and learning to deal with it in a way that benefits both sides.

Greening business, root and branch: the forms and limits of economic environmentalism
