Article Abstract:

Women who hold upper-level positions in male-dominated organizations should cultivate their credibility if they want to be taken seriously by their male counterparts. Building a good track record, displaying technical competence and committing to a service ethic are instrumental to building credibility. Organizations should consider all means to enhance the credibility of women leaders.
