Beyond "nonsense of stilts": Towards conceptual clarity and resolution of conflicting economic rights

Article Abstract:

The issues of the meaning of possession of a right to economic good are explored to demonstrate that greater conceptual clarity repudiates the arguments against the existence of economic rights. It also demonstrates how greater conceptual clarity can aid in dealing with complex policy issues involving competing rights claim.

The good and its shadow: The view of Levinas on human rights as the surpassing of political rationality

Article Abstract:

A remarkable bond between the ethical good and evil, a relationship that is almost neglected is discussed, which concludes that the good can also be transformed into its opposite. The analysis of Emmanuel Levinas is considered, where he discovers human rights as a trace that leads towards God.
