DuBois postal stamp is third for NAACP

Article Abstract:

Dr. DuBois became the third leader of the NAACP to be honored by the 1992 Black Heritage Stamp. His ideas which were written long ago still prove to be relevant today and makes him a deserving recipient of such an honor. A proud and individualistic man, DuBois never hesitated to voice out his controversial opinions. This earned him much of the government's ire and he was charged with subversion. Today, this same government is honoring him as one of the most significant figures in African-American history.
