Externalities in open economy antitrust and their implications for international competition policy

The author discusses the problem of the negative international influence of national antitrust policies and suggests that international cooperation in formulating antitrust policy based upon international progress is necessary.

The author advocates reform of antitrust law in the U.S. because he argues that it not only does not accomplish its purpose, but it impedes economic growth.
