Globalization, totem and taboo of the left

Article Abstract:

The left and social democrats in Italy must adapt to changes brought by globalization to ensure their political survival. They must prove to the Italians and to the world at large that they are capable of planning the future and making the necessary adjustments regarding innovation and change. As such, proponents of the left and of social democracy must rediscover a universal vocation that transcends Eurocentrism and expands their political and strategic horizon.
