It is time to abolish nuclear arms

Article Abstract:

The nuclear tests undertaken by neighboring countries India and Pakistan are yet another strong proof that the US's nuclear nonproliferation policy is a failure. The US stance on nuclear weapons has been known to dwell on extreme hypocrisy and gross double standards, campaigning for nonproliferation while it continues to conduct nuclear tests and research of its own. It is therefore necessary for the US to phase out its nuclear programs first before it can convince other countries to agree on a comprehensive ban on nuclear testing. Failure to do so could give rise to more nuclear tests and the proliferation of more nuclear weapons, a scenario that the US cannot afford to happen.

The implosion of Israel

Article Abstract:

American Jews are displaying a less supportive stance towards Israel and the peace process due to several factors. The primary factor is the divisiveness within Israel itself, where Jews fight against Jews and Israelis fight against Israelis. Another consideration is the assimilation of the American Jews in the US resulting in uncertainty about their own Jewishness. The last factor is the unpopularity of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the US due to his inconsistent support of Oslo which has alienated Pres Clinton, Secretary Madeleine Albright and the American Jews.
