The Falun Gong sect has been responsible for hundreds of demonstrations and sieges against news organizations and Communist Party agencies. Falun Gong's main priority is to trigger social disturbance and harm relations between the Party and the people.

Falun Gong gatherings to protest government opposition are carefully planned and coordinated. The sect claims its demonstrations are to protect itself and completely spontaneous, but this is untrue.
