What is Internet governance and where does it come from?

Article Abstract:

The literature on governing the Internet suffers from narrow, technocratic conceptions of Internet governance, insufficient attention to governance dynamics within countries, and limited appreciation for the micro-level political and social roots of governance. The ways in which these problems can be addressed are suggested.

Social democracy, unions, and pension politics in Germany and Sweden

Article Abstract:

The politics of reforming mature, pay-as-you-go pensions in the context of austerity is examined. The existing pension policies in Germany were more constraining than in Sweden, narrowing the range of politically feasible strategies is argued.

The politics of policy resistance: reconstructing higher education in Kosovo

Article Abstract:

Attempts to incorporate lessons and transfer policies from Britain in the reconstruction of Higher Education in Kosovo after 1999 is described. The nature of policy resistance and hypotheses for future research is set out.
