A systematic review of studies evaluating diffusion and dissemination of selected cancer control interventions

Article Abstract:

The dissemination research in the area of cancer control is focused and the strategies evaluated to disseminate cancer control interventions that promote the uptake of behavior change are determined. There is a strong need for more research into dissemination of cancer control interventions and further research should consider methodological issues such as the most appropriate study design and outcomes to be evaluated.

Socioeconomic variation in attitudes to eating and weight in female adolescents

Article Abstract:

The Socioeconomic variation in health of the public is an important issue but it has not received sufficient consideration in the health psychology. The female adolescents evaluated the socioeconomic status, the social standard of weight, the attitudes to weight and the outcome showed differences in weight related attitudes and behaviors would lead to the formation of a gradient in weight.

Psychological impact of colorectal cancer screening

Article Abstract:

The psychological impact of participating in sigmoidoscopy screening for colorectal cancer prevention is examined by using longitudinal data. The findings suggest that no evidence was found for vulnerability to adverse effects among those who were initially most anxious or who perceived their risk of cancer to be higher.
