Annotation: Economic evaluations of child and adolescent mental health interventions: A systematic review

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to review the economic evaluation literature in the child and adolescent mental health area by systematically identifying and reviewing all published cost-effective analyses in this area and assessing their quality. Results reveal that the economic evaluations in the field of child and adolescent mental health interventions are few in number and generally poor in quality.

Annotation: The similarities and differences between autistic disorder and Asperger's disorder: A review of the empirical evidence

Article Abstract:

Experts in the field of medicine have not yet resolved differences between autistic disorder and AspergerEs disorder and all research evidence were studied to come to some conclusion. On the basis of evidence there seems to be very little difference between the two disorders and both are in the autism spectrum but more research is required.

Practitioner review: Cognitive rehabilitation for children with acquired brain injury

Article Abstract:

The empirical evidence investigating cognitive rehabilitation for children with acquired brain injury (ABI) is described. Results reveal an absence of randomized controlled trials and a very limited number of studies using other methodological approaches.
