Changes in Locomotor and foraging skills in captive-born, reintroduced golden lion tamarins (Leontopithecus rosalia rosalia)

Article Abstract:

The changes in locomotors and foraging behaviors in captive-born golden lion tamarins over the first 18 months after their release into the wild is studied. The results demonstrated that the training experiences given to golden lion tamarins in the form of living in a complex, free-ranging environment does not confer behavioral benefits.
