Choice-process satisfaction: the influence of attribute alignability and option limitation

Article Abstract:

Choice-process satisfaction is conditioned by restrictions on choice options. Satisfaction is higher for situations where desired options can be compared, while the elimination of an attractive option reduces satisfaction. However, the satisfaction decrease that such restrictions on options generate is determined by the alignability of the features that helps an individual discriminate among available options.
