Criterion-related validity of Rorschach analogues of dissociation

Article Abstract:

The Dissociative Experiences Scale (DES) is often used to measure dissociative symptoms, but it is limited due to its vulnerability to response distortion. The validity of Rorschach indicators of dissociation was assessed using scores on the DES. Results showed that those with Rorschach indicators of dissociation scored higher on the DES than those without the indicators.
