Factor structure and validity of the MacArthur competence assessment tool-criminal adjucation

Article Abstract:

The available literature regarding development of the MacArthur Competence Assessment Tool-Criminal Adjudication (MacCAT-CA) was examined. MacCAT-CA represents a psychometrically sound normative approach to measuring the generalized aspects of understanding, reasoning, and appreciation as well as an overarching, despite some of the structural weaknesses identified.

Assessing relationship quality in mandated community treatment: blending care with control

Article Abstract:

The Dual-Role Relationships Inventory (DRI-R) was developed to look into the quality of relationship in mandated treatment. The results showed that the quality of dual role relationships was not properly captured by traditional conceptualizations of therapeutic alliance.

Applicability of traditional and revised models of psychopathy to the psychopathy checklist: screening version

Article Abstract:

TH revised 3-factor model describes the structure of the Screening Version of the Psychopath Checklist (PLC) than the traditional model. This is concluded from the comparison of the fit of the traditional 2-factor model and the revised 3-factor model of psychopathy.
