Factor structure and convergent validity of the Conflict Tactics Scale in high school students

Article Abstract:

Research into the factor structure and convergent validity of an amended version of the Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS) in a multi-ethnic high school student sample has produced new information about measurement and definition of the constructs on the CTS in a high school sample. Some significant, although limited, progress was made in defining self-reported aggression measured on the CTS. There is preliminary evidence for the validity of the CTS as a measure of dating aggression and victimization among high school students.
