Article Abstract:

The concepts like stigma and compliance play a very important role in the process of psychological rehabilitation of a patient and affect the quality of their life. It is important for the doctors to establish a confidential relationship with their patients for the successful rehabilitation of the mentally ill patients, which would in turn assist in destigmatization and correction of compliance while ignoring the issues of stigma and compliance could result in distorting the rehabilitative style of work, which will affect the patients.
