Influence of Estradiol on Cortisol secretion in ovariectomized cynomolgus Macaques( Macaca fasicularis)

Article Abstract:

Exogenous estradiol, that is provided to ovariectomised macaques noncyclically in physiologic concentrations, modestly increased circulating cortisol in comparison to that observed in untreated ovariectomised controls.The study also identifies seasonal factors as a possible independent modulator of HPA activity.

Effect of diet on dental development of four species of Catarrhine primates

Article Abstract:

Dental developments of two pairs of closely related catarrhine primate species, that differ in their degree of folivory are studied. The two pairs of primate species, used for study are, Hylobates lar and Symphalangus, and Papio hamadryas hamadryas and Semnopithecus entellus.

Collection and analysis of hematopoietic progenitor cells from cynomolgus macaques (Macaca fascicularis): assessment of cross-reacting monoclonal antibodies

Article Abstract:

Cross-reactivity of 13 anti-human CD34, two anti-human c-Kit, and one anti-human CD133 monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), with cynomolgus macaque (Macaca fascicularis) BM cells are studied. The study, utilized flow cytometric analysis, cell enrichment and clonogenic assay.
