Latent structure of anxiety: Taxometric exploration

Article Abstract:

Taxometric analyses, MAXCOV and MAXEIG were conducted in a large nonclinical sample to determine whether extreme anxiety forms a distinct psychopathological category, an anxiety taxon. Examination of the taxon's convergent and discriminant validity revealed that it reflects general distress rather than physiological arousal and taxon membership showed some evidence of incremental validity.

Adaptation of panic-related psychopathology measures to Russian

Article Abstract:

Adaptation of panic-related psychopathology measures to Russian, including the Anxiety Sensitivity Index (ASI), the agoraphobic Cognitions Questionnaire (ACQ) and the Mobility Inventory for Agoraphobia (MIA) is reported. The adapted ASI was equivalent to the original English-language version, the ACQ showed structural equivalency and the MIA displayed notable structural discrepancies.

Meta-analysis of the brief psychiatric rating scale factor structure

Article Abstract:

A meta-analysis of factor analyses of the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS) was conducted to reveal those items that have most frequently defined similar factors across studies. Results suggest five subscales, which are affect, positive symptoms, negative symptoms, resistance, and activation.
