What makes a man similar to a tie? Stimulus compatibility with comparison and integration

Article Abstract:

Issues regarding the compatibility of different properties of stimuli with different types of processing are discussed. Specifically, object pairs from the same taxonomic category tend to be alignable, while object pairs playing different roles in thematic relations tend to be nonalignable.

Intersexuality and gender identity defferentiation

Article Abstract:

Interviews with people born with ambiguous genetalia have shown varied gender identity differentiation. The gender social environment is clearly a significant element in determining psychosexual differentiation.
