The Posttraumatc Cognitions Inventory (PTCI): development and validation

Article Abstract:

A new measure of beliefs and thoughts related to traum has been developed, and it is called the Posttraumatic Cognitions Inventory (PTCI). Theories of psychopathology relating to trauma have been used, as well as clinical observations. The test was used with 601 volunteers, of whom 392 has undergone trauma, with 170 of these suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder. The test performed well, especially in identifying individuals who had gone through trauma, whether or not they were suffering from the stress disorder.

Measuring adjustment to chronic skin disorders: validation of a self-report measure

Article Abstract:

The Adjustment to Chronic Skin Diseases Questionnaire (ACS) is developed in order to assess the problems in adapting to chronic disorders. The characteristic differences in adjustment problems between different skin diseases, which are based on different clinical syndromes, are examined with the help of this questionnaire.

The PHQ-9 as a brief assessment of lifetime major depression

Article Abstract:

The Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) was modified to find out the worst period of major depression and the scores were found to correspond greatly with major depressive period. Thus it can be used to replace costly interview assessment for assessing lifetime of major depressive episodes.
