The agony of opportunity in negotiation: Number of negotiable issues, counterfactual thinking, and feelings of satisfaction

Article Abstract:

The two experiments conducted to examine the relationship between the number of issues in a negotiation and feelings of satisfaction immediately following the negotiation, are presented. The results revealed that the ones who negotiated the most felt the worse about their outcome.

The debiasing effect of counterfactual mind-sets: Increasing the search for disconfirmatory information in group decisions

Article Abstract:

An experiment was conducted on the counterfactual mind-set's minimizing of decision errors, by examining the decision making process in groups. It was found that counterfactual groups make correct decision and seek disconfirmatory than non-counterfactual.

Empirical tests of a fast-and-frugal heuristic: Not everyone takes-the-best

Article Abstract:

Two experiments are reported that examine the use of heuristic, 'takes-the-best' (TTB) heuristic. Both the results show that only 33 percent of participants behave consistently with TTB and the rest adopt fast-and-frugal strategies.
