The effect of hysterectomy on sexual functioning

Article Abstract:

Research indicates that hysterectomy for benign conditions can have adverse effects on sexual functioning of premenopausal women. However, a critical review of the available literature on the subject indicates that the nature and extent of the dysfunctions need further investigation.

Regression strategies for analyzing the study and pharmacological treatment of sexual response: ANOVA and beyond

The menopause and sexual functioning: a review of the population-based studies

Article Abstract:

A population-based study found a dramatic decline in female sexual functioning associated with menopausal transition. The role of aging and hormonal factors in the process is also discussed.
