The effect of time delay on multi-attribute choice

Article Abstract:

The relative preference between two options described along multiple attributes in an intertemporal context is studied. The effects of time delay on multi-attribute choice is discussed and also shown that time delay influences the perceived value of the product by influencing perceived effort and perceived price differentially, which is explained with a hyperbolic discounting model.
