The fate of Czech psychiatric patients during World War II

An investigation into the fate of psychiatric patients in Czech institutions during World War II is presented, stating that evidence of the involvement of Czech psychiatrists in any event of extermination is lacking.

The plight of Hungarian psychiatric patients due to rationing of food and lack of care and evidence that there was no difference between people on the basis of their mental status are explained.

The fate of the mentally ill in war: Statistics of Finnish mental hospitals during World War II

The increase in the mortality rate in Finnish mental hospitals from the year 1935 through 1949 due to undernourishment and infection is presented, based on the annual reports of that period.
