The joint WAIS-II and WMS-III factor structure: development and cross-validation of a six-factor model of cognitive functioning

Article Abstract:

A series of confirmatory factor analyses determining the joint Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (3rd ed.; WAIS-III) and Wechsler Memory Scale, (3rd ed.; WMS-III) factor structure are presented. Studies revealed that by loading select subtests simultaneously on two factors improved the model fit and indicated that some subtests are multifaceted.
