Denied the right to report: IPI fosters better relations between foreign press and Israel

Article Abstract:

The restriction of the Palestinian journalist that prejudiced their ability to perform their professional duties, led to a serious deterioration in the working relationship between the Foreign Press Association (FPA) and the Government Press Office (GPO) claiming that foreign media were part of deliberate political ploy to prevent the reports of conflict reaching the outside world. To solve this problem, the IPI flew to Israel and met with various media groups as a representative of an international organization for the freedom of press.
