Fighting the enemy within

Article Abstract:

The Turkish press is depicted as competitive and vibrant, despite the attempts by an oppressive state apparatus to crop it back and a strategy to criticize the state and not consider the corporate cultures of media organizations has led to an erosion of press freedom and legitimated bad practice.
