Issues concerning the emergence of modernism in Central Europe are addressed at three new exhibitions. The Getty Center in Los Angeles, CA, is staging an exhibition entitled 'Shaping the Great City: Modern Architecture in Central Europe, 1890-1937,' while The Wolsonian in Miami Beach, FL, has an exhibition called 'Dreams and Disillusion: Karel Teige and the Czech Avant-Garde.' At the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, CA, there is an exhibition entitled 'The Architecture of R.M. Schindler.'
