Sagmeister's perfect visual pitch

Article Abstract:

Stefan Sagmeister's innovative and breathtaking design work has caught the eye of multimedia designers and rock musicians as well as design professionals. Artists such as Lou Reed have said that they chose Stefan to design CD covers for them after seeing his portfolio only once. His images tend to bleed into one another, striking curious but resonant chords within the viewer. His work for Peter Handke and other musicians has also been praised.

Nakajima works at a frenetic pace in producing the impressive covers and editorial design for CUT. His workaholism is described as distinct from that of the preceding generation of Japanese workaholics because it is for the pure idea of design rather than for the ideals of family, money, or fame.
