The international aspects of website design are being missed by a large number of UK based commercial estate agents, which could have a serious impact on business in the long run. Linking to international sites are ideal for UK firms seeking to enhance their reputation abroad, while building up strengths in the home markets. Without consider the potential for international websites, UK agents will lose out to more competitive firms.

Falling rents, crazy values

Article Abstract:

There was a continuing fall in rental values during the commercial property market crash of the early 1990s. This led to 'over-rented' property which introduced major distortions into the market. This also drew the 'privity of contract' principle into focus, and further compounded the problems of the valuation profession during the recession.
