All dressed up and nowhere to go

Article Abstract:

There is a chronic shortage of new offices in Kingston upon Thames, England, and commercial property agents are afraid that occupiers will be forced to look elsewhere. Of the available space, much is second-hand and tends to be suitable for smaller businesses. New developement is required to meet the approaching dearth of quality space but there is little of significance forthcoming. Kingston has a limited industrial base and although there is demand, there is no significant development planned. An overview of the industrial and commercial property market in Kingston upon Thames is presented.

Mixing business and pleasure

Article Abstract:

Eastbourne, East Sussex, is best known as a seaside holiday destination but it also has a thriving business community and a healthy commercial property market. Major companies that are based in the town include Private Patients Plan and Rhone-Poulenc Rorer. Eastbourne Borough Council's determination to market the town as a traditional holiday resort, dominated by small businesses, is mainly because of the lack of good-quality, vacant offices. An overview of the commercial and industrial property market in Eastbourne is presented.

Aiming to make up for lost time

Article Abstract:

There are promising prospects for the industrial and commercial property market surrounding junctions 1-4 of the M3 motorway in the county of Surrey, England. The area has potential for new commercial development, although prospects for the industrial sector are less certain. The proximity of the M3 motorway is a great attraction for companies planning office relocations, but there are few business parks in the area with room for further development.
