Biggest investors bearish but still going global

Article Abstract:

Conway Data Inc reports that the number of new and expanded facilities worldwide has decreased by 27% for 1992 which reflects the effect of the recession on manufacturers. About 19% of the new plants and expansions amounting to $300 million were located outside of the US. Walt Disney Co's $4 billion Euro Disneyland park and $3 billion expansion of the original California park were the biggest facilities for 1992. Automobile manufacturers also accounted for 10 of the 20 biggest facility investments in 1992 despite the decreased motor vehicle production.
