Louisiana: the states run by a businessman

Article Abstract:

Mike Foster Jr.'s appointment as Louisiana's governor fulfilled the state's hope of improving its economic status and facilitating the growth of the business sector. The business-driven governor did not only rectified Louisiana's corrupt fiscal policy, but also invigorated the state's business atmosphere by underscoring corporate ethics and competitive operating costs. Through these efforts, Louisiana recorded $3.8 billion in facility and equipment investments, without increasing citizens' tax burden.
