California, Texas lead U.S. in tech jobs

Article Abstract:

According to a report by Cyberstates, California and Texas employed maximum number of high-tech workers in 2005. A list of top ten states, ranked in accordance with the number of high-tech workers employed in the state, is presented. A list of top ten states that are ranked based on the maximum venture capital from the year 2000 is also presented.

Transportation makes it five for five

The corporate projects of transport equipment manufacturers are discussed. It is observed that out of the 25 largest transportation projects announced in the U.S. in the year 2002, 14 of them were won by the Midwest.
