The real nuclear option

The trends observed in the development of nuclear plants whose value as high as $2.5 billion, are discussed. The federal energy bill passed in 2005, has given lot of initiation to build new reactors. Meanwhile, several energy companies have applied for combined operating and construction license (COL) to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
