Clear vision comes on line

Article Abstract:

A new marketing and development strategy is being undertaken by the council of Croydon in Surrey, in an attempt to shake of the poor public image of the town, mainly due to highrise concrete office blocks and inadequate retail facilities. Vision 2020 plans to bring the town into the 21st century through redevelopment and efficient use of existing properties, although a new tramlink system for the town is behind schedule and causing problems to the retail market.
