Article Abstract:

The 30 million pounds sterling Harbour Approach Road will take much of the traffic from the centre of Ramsgate, Kent, England, and divert it straight to the port. Folkestone, Kent, England, is becoming a popular area for development due to its location near the Channel Tunnel. Bidding frenzy

Article Abstract:

Some auctioneers are as serious in their endeavour to obtain items for their various collections as some of their customers, and they often break the rule of not bidding over their limit for an object. Healy and Baker's John Townsend has collected Victorian magic lanterns for 23 years. Harman Healy's Jonathan Radgick admits to being carried away in the amount he spends at auction, when purchasing old sports cars. Property Auctioneer Clive Emson also admits to going over his limit to make purchase and he often fails to inspect an item before it comes up for sale.

Platform for change

Article Abstract:

The Channel Tunnel has brought some interest from French companies willing to rent offices in Kent, England, with easy access to the Tunnel. Local agents point out Kent would not be able to support large industrial developments due to the lack of workers. The region suffers from some traffic congestion, particularly in the major towns. The UK economic situation is also hindering some investment possibilities because the pound is strong. Eurotunnel Developments has over 650 acres of land, suitable for development, situated around the M20 motorway.
