Equity financing for California residential development projects: an update

Article Abstract:

An analysis was conducted on the criteria for equity financing for California residential real estate development projects. It was shown that equity financing is readily available for the qualified developer with an established reputation, financial strength, integrity and commitment to continue in the business for the long term. With the cost of capital increasing with higher risk development partners or deals, a variety of financing sources are available that are able to address these problems.

Bringing value back to contaminated property

Article Abstract:

Issues are presented concerning the action which can be taken to bring value back to property which has been contaminated. The value of contaminated property and contaminated property insurance are discussed.
