Explaining contamination issues

Article Abstract:

Land contamination can primarily be dealt with in two different ways, either by linking the clean up method to the intended end use for sustainability or by total clean up for any end use. Some claim total clean up is usually impossible and future remediation could be required to meet new environmental standards. Many of the contaminated sites in the United Kingdom have already been cleaned up. Surveyors must have all the necessary information to advise on dealing with contaminated sites, such as by studying historical site usage and assessing contamination risk.
